About Currumbin Medical

The doctors at Currumbin Medical Centre have over 30 years experience in General Practice and pride themselves on delivering comprehensive medical care for the entire family whilst maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.

Currumbin Medical Centre has been established in Currumbin since 1974.  The Practice provides a range of comprehensive health and medical services to the local Currumbin area as well as surrounding suburbs. The practice consists of three full-time male doctors and one female Doctor. The support staff include the Practice Manager, three Registered Nurses and four Receptionists. Our practice has 5 consultation rooms and a well equipped treatment room for minor procedures, dressings, ECG’s and Spirometries.  A Pharmacy and Pathology are located next door. The clinic is conveniently opened 5 ½ days per week with onsite parking outside the front door. All of our Doctors, have over 30 years experience in General Practice and also  have their own special interests to help cater to our patient’s individual needs.

The Surgery is an accredited General Practice with AGPAL (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited).

Before entering our practice please phone ahead on 5534 1977 if you have any of these symptoms.

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore Throat
  • Shortness of breath

Or

  • Travelled overseas or travelled in a known hotspot in past 14 days.
  • Had contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having Covid 19 in the past14 days.
  • When phoning to make an appointment and when you also present to our Practice, our receptionists will ask you some screening questions.

If you have any of the above symptoms, we can advise you what to do and assist you in any care you need.

We can offer a Telehealth consultation as a convenient way to consult if you are unable to come to the clinic.
